HBAN Completes $920 Million Equity Offering, KBW Reports

On Monday, Huntington Bancshares Inc. (NASDAQ: HBAN) announced and completed a $920 million equity offering with proceeds expected to go to repaying its full $1.4 billion of TARP, KBW reports.

“Following this announcement, we are raising our 2012 and 2013 estimates each by a nickel to $0.60/share and $0.80/share, respectively, to reflect the modestly better execution relative to our estimates,” KBW writes.

Huntington Bancshares currently trades at $6.47.
