EMC Top Pick At Brean Murray (EMC)

Brean Murray, Carret & Co. has a Buy rating and a $30 price target on shares of EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC).

In a note to clients, Brean Murray writes, "While we remain net-long our universe heading into the year, in this piece we delineate between our Buy rated names; specifically, Xerox, Hewlett-Packard and EMC are our designated “Top Picks” entering 2011. We view each of these as having some attractive combination of 1) ongoing EPS upside to Street, 2) underappreciated L-T revenue growth opportunities, 3) attractive appreciation potential with relatively limited potential downside (particularly for earnings), and 4) reasonable to attractive valuation."

Shares of EMC are up 6 cents in pre-market trading to $24.04, a gain of 0.25%.
