Piper Jaffray writes on the September retail preview:

"More than halfway through the month of September, women's specialty comps trending strongest, mass avg and teen lowest: Our PJC comp store index is forecasted to increase +1.4% in September, following a +2.9% increase in August, and a +2.9% increase in July. Fiscal year-to-date, our index is up +3.5% and reflects some weakness from the conclusion of BTS, relatively negative economic data, and increasingly difficult comparisons."
