Sterne Agee Tours New Store Concept From Talbots

Sterne Agee has published a research report on Talbots, Inc. (NYSE: TLB) after touring the company's new store design concept.

In the report, Sterne Agee writes "We toured the recently opened new design concept stores in Garden State Plaza on Friday. Open several weeks, the store apparently has met with strong reception. The new line inspired by the Tuileries Garden of Paris had just arrived in stores and the windows were eye-popping re-creating the visuals in the latest catalog with Julianne Moore in one window and apparel mixed with greenery adjacent in another window. While there are 14 refreshed stores now in select cities, this new concept store differs in that it has grouped merchandise into several rooms similar to the original Talbots in Hingham, MA."

Sterne Agee maintains its Buy rating and $7.50 price target.

Talbots, Inc. closed Friday at $6.11.
