Goldman Sachs' SpendTrend Highlights March Numbers In Transaction Processing
Goldman Sachs has released its SpendTrend rrport for March, showcasing trends in the transaction processing industry. The report shows strength within the industry as consumer spending increased and fuel prices rose.
The report also highlights five stocks within the industry. Goldman Sachs maintains its Buy rating on both Mastercard Inc. (NYSE: MA) and Visa Inc (NYSE: V) based on FDC results but remains cautious on Neutral rated Global Payments Inc (NYSE: GPN) and Heartland Payment Systems (NYSE: HPY) and also Sell rated Total System Services (NYSE: TSS).
MA closed yesterday at $266.61, V at $77.71, GPN at $52.58, HPY at $17.10 and TSS at $18.42.
