Compass Point Reiterates BB&T Buy, $27 PT

Compass Point Research & Trading reiterated its BB&T (NYSE: BBT) Buy rating and $27 price target in a research report published today.

In the report, Compass Point states, "We reiterate our Buy rating and $27 price target after BBT reported 2011Q3 yesterday. Backing out noise related to problem asset dispositions, we believe the core fundamental metrics are generally in-line with our expectations."

Shares of BB&T were trading at $22.90 at the time of posting, up 1.64% from Thursday's market close.
