Gabelli: Transocean Announces New Senior VP

In a research report published today by Gabelli, Transocean Ltd. (NYSE: RIG) announced its new Senior Vice President, David A. Tonnel, will begin executing his duties March 1, 2012.

“Mr. Tonnel has held several roles since joining Transocean in 1996 including most recently Senior Vice President of the Europe and Africa unit, Vice President of Global Supply Chain, Vice President of Integration and Process Improvement, Vice President and Controller and Assistant Controller,” Gabelli commented in the report.

Gabelli maintains its Buy rating and $65 PMV on Transocean, which closed Friday at $50.79.
