Financial Services Industry Update (JPM, AXP, COF, DFS, BAC)

Analysts at Ladenburg Thalman (AMEX: LTS) have released an update on the Financial Services industry, previewing the monthly credit card statistics for January. Capital One Financial Corp. (NYSE: COF) reports both monthly managed, and master trust statistics. Analysts are expecting a rise of 170 basis points in net charge-offs at Capital One for January. Analysts expect 30+ day delinquencies to rise by 7 basis points. Analysts have a Neutral rating for Capital One Financial Corp.

Discover Financial Services (NYSE: DFS) reports only monthly master trust statistics. Analysts expect net charge-offs to rise by 98 basis points, while 30+ day delinquencies to rise by 6 basis points. Analysts have a Sell rating for Discover Financial Services.

JP Morgan (NYSE: JPM) also reports only monthly master trust statistics. Analysts expect net charge-offs to rise by 418 basis points, and delinquencies to rise by 7 basis points. Analysts have a Buy rating for JP Morgan.
