Activision Blizzard Q4 Earnings Preview

Activision Blizzard, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI) reports Q4 earnings Thursday. The Street expects revenue of $2.24 billion and EPS of $0.88.

Wedbush expected revenue of $2.275 million and EPS of $0.91 with flat Q4 sales and FY 2015 guidance to come in above expectations. The firm maintained an Outperform rating an $31 price target.

Brean Capital maintained a Buy rating and $26 price target and gave a full year 2015 EPS estimate of $1.55.

“Total industry digital sales in December grew 11 percent to $1.2 billion from $1.1 billion a year ago, according to SuperData research. This was higher than our expectations for digital sales of $1.15 billion. We believe this growth is being driven by an expanding next-gen user base and better execution from major publishers for online game-modes.” according to Brean analysts.

Heading into earnings, Activision Blizzard traded at $21.81, up 1.35 percent.
