Credit Suisse Sees Some Positive Signs For Future Volumes For CBOE Holdings
In a report published Thursday, Credit Suisse analyst Christian Bolu reiterated an Underperform rating and $58.00 price target on CBOE Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBOE).
In the report, Credit Suisse noted, "Earlier this evening, Chicago Board Options Exchange released March monthly business metrics. Weaker activity trends persisted in March–overall volumes were weaker than our already low expectations. Pricing was a bit better than we'd expected while multi-list market share stabilized after declining over the last few months. Looking forward, we do see some signs that volume could be close to an inflection point–-flows into volatility ETPs are increasing and VIX open interest (>70% correlation with volume growth) is up 28% from the mid-February levels."
CBOE Holdings closed on Wednesday at $56.72.
