Update From The IPAA New York Oil & Gas Investment Symposium

Analysts Neal Dingmann and Jason Wangler at Wunderlich Securities have released an update on the IPPA New York Oil & Gas Investment Symposium. According to analysts, the mood of the conference is quite positive.

The key take away from the meeting is that companies and investors are looking to gain exposure to liquids-rich production, reserves and acreage, with the main areas of interest being the Eagle Ford, Niobrara, and Bakken regions. Analysts also spoke with Gulf of Mexico producing companies and the trend in the region continues to be of more companies exiting rather than entering it.

Analysts at Wunderlich Securities have a Buy rating for Clayton Williams Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: CWEI), Swift Energy Company (NYSE: SFY), and American Oil & Gas Inc. (AMEX: AEZ).
