Superlative Times Ahead For Supertex (SUPX)

Bill Ong, Managing Director at Merriman Curhan Ford has reiterated a Buy rating for Supertex Inc. (NASDAQ: SUPX).

Supertex, founded in 1975, designs and manufactures high voltage analog and mixed signal devices serving a variety of industries like LED, lighting, medical electronics, imaging amongst others. This year’s Consumer Electronics Show at Las Vegas showcased TV’s with LED’s, 3D and internet enabled technology. Leading industry players are likely to source their LED drivers from Supertex thus justifying its rating.
