Corn Spikes To Expanded Limit Up; Carries Wheat, Beans Flat
After some volatility on the day session open, corn has shrugged off any sense of weakness and surged up to today's expanded limit. Corn is now +45c (+6.49%) on the day to 738 ¼. The strong buying in corn is pulling the wheat higher since wheat can be used as a feed substitute for corn. Wheat is now +9c to 772 ¼ making new highs for the day. Soybeans have punched into positive territory after being down earlier and are up 1.5c to 1411 ¾.
