AAII Sentiment Survey Shows Bulls Rise In Past Week

The American Association of Individual Investors sentiment survey was just released, and Bullish sentiment rose sharply in the past week.

The AAII Sentiment Survey showed that Bullish sentiment rose to 37.9%, up 5.7%, Neutral sentiment fell 5.4% to 31.5%, and Bearish sentiment fell 0.3% to 30.6%.

It's interesting to note that bullish, neutral and bearish sentiment are all near their historical averages, and that bearish sentiment has been essentially unchanged during 4 out of the last 5 weeks.
