Bearish Sentiment Rises In Past Week

The AAII Sentiment Survey was just released and it showed that Bearish sentiment rose in the past week, as did Neutral sentiment.

In the latest survey, Bullish sentiment fell 2.4% to 35.5%, Neutral sentiment rose 1.2% to 32.7%, and Bearish sentiment rose 1.2% to 31.9%.

Bearish sentiment is essentially unchanged for 5th time in 6 weeks, though it is above average for 10 out the last 11 weeks.

The survey shows that individual investors remain cautiously optimistic with more upbeat than downbeat about stocks.
