Futures Higher Going Into Jobless Claims
Equity futures are modestly higher going into initial jobless claims, due to be released at 8:30 a.m.
Initial claims for the week ending June 4 are expected to tick up ever so slightly, coming in at 423,000. Last week's initial claims were 422,000. Continuing claims are expected to drop, coming at 3.688 million. This is down from the prior week, when continuing claims were 3.711 million.
At last check, Dow futures were up 28 points, S&P 500 futures were up 4.1 points, and NASDAQ futures were up 4.5 points.
