Gold Rise Slightly With Stalling Dollar But Remains Close To 3 Week Low

Prices for Gold rose slightly on Wednesday Morning trading on the NYMEX and COMEX as the Dollar slipped due to fragile consumer confidence. However, Gold still remains close to three week low with the dollar's looming resurgence.

December Prices of Gold remained practically flat at $1,035.40 an ounce on the COMEX division of the NYMEX because of the expected recovery of the dollar. Silver was down 10 cents at $16.44 an ounce. Platinum prices for January were down to $1,317 an ounce, a 0.2% drop. Palladium was down to $325.70 from $330.55.
