European Markets Close Lower

The European markets are now closed. Stock markets across Europe performed as follows:

The U.K. FTSE lost 1.2%.

The German DAX shed 0.8%.

The French CAC dropped 1.5%.

The Spanish IBEX fell 1.6%.

The Portuguese PSI slid 0.6%.

The Euro is up slightly versus the dollar and is currently trading at 1.1952.
