LeBron James Making Announcement On ESPN On Thursday

ESPN announced on Tuesday night that superstar basketball free agent LeBron James is set to announce which NBA team he will sign with during a special live ESPN telecast on Thursday night at 9 p.m.

ESPN’s Chris Broussard also said that representatives of James asked to be allowed to sell sponsorship for the event, with the proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

The teams currently said to be in the running to sign James include his current team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, as well as the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, New Jersey Nets and New York Knicks.

This year's group of free agents also includes the Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade and the Toronto Raptors' Chris Bosh and there has been much speculation about whether or not James will end up playing on a team along with one of those two stars.
