Florida Coach Meyer To Leave
Urban Meyer, the University of Florida football coach that has seen more than 30 of his players arrested while with the school, announced he is stepping down after the Gators play in the Outback Bowl.
Don't fret Gator fans. You've been down this road before with Meyer who said before last year's Sugar Bowl that he would leave the school and then it was supposed to just be a lengthy vacation and then he didn't go anywhere at all.
In other words, Meyer is a diva in a profession full of them. He likes lots of attention.
In a statement released by the university Wednesday, Meyer says “it is time to put my focus on my family and life away from the field," according to the Associated Press.
Meyer won two BCS National Titles while with Florida.
