    1. The actors made use of crushed B vitamins in scenes that involved cocaine snorting.
    2. Jonah Hill agreed to a drastic pay cut to work with Scorsese. He earned just $60,000 on the film, which is the Screen Actors Guild's minimum amount.
    3. Legendary director Steven Spielberg visited the set, and Scorsese insists Spielberg co-directed the "Steve Madden speech" scene. Speaking of Madden, the film accurately portrayed Belfort's firm, which took part in Steven Madden, Ltd. (NASDAQ: SHOO)'s initial public offering. However, Madden told Page Six he thought his character's portrayal was "too nerdy."
    4. The film grossed $392 million worldwide, Scorsese's highest grossing film ever.
    5. DiCaprio put dog food and chicken livers all over his feet and toes to get a dog to jump on him as part of a sex scene.
