A viral social media post sparked speculation about Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast's finances after a user spotted him flying economy on EVA Air.

What Happened: On Sunday, a user on X, formerly Twitter, questioned whether the world's most-followed YouTuber was facing financial trouble.

"Is MrBeast now MrBroke? He was reportedly spotted flying economy on EVA AIR," the user posted.

The YouTuber, known for his massive giveaways and multi-million-dollar productions, explained that he often books last-minute flights when necessary.

"I've flown Southwest multiple times already this year, sometimes when we need last-minute tickets it's all that's available and I'm just chilling in the back of a plane with random fans lo," the YouTuber said.

Why It Matters: According to Forbes, MrBeast currently has a net worth of $85 million. In 2023, the YouTuber pledged to give away all his money before his death.

Last month, Donaldson also revealed that he is in talks with several billionaires to potentially acquire TikTok's U.S. operations.
