Will GTA 6 Be 750GB In Size And Cost $150? Separating Truth From Clickbait

In recent weeks, Take-Two Interactive Software Inc.'s (NASDAQ: TTWO) upcoming GTA 6 has been the subject of numerous online rumors and leaks, but it's crucial to exercise caution and rely on trusted sources for accurate information.

One particularly sensational claim suggested GTA 6 would have a staggering 750GB file size and a story lasting more than 400 hours.

This rumor lacks credibility and should be viewed skeptically. Similarly, a rumor about a $150 minimum price for the game spread rapidly, despite originating from an unsubstantiated source.

Some "leakers" have even suggested GTA 6 would feature an unprecedentedly large map, combining San Andreas, Liberty City, Vice City and others. While there are numerous online videos and images purporting to be from the game, most have been debunked.

"This isn’t anything new — these kinds of ‘leaks’ and rumors have been landing online and being circulated around for decades," wrote Insider Gaming's Grant Taylor-Hill.

"But it’s getting much worse now because a) people are getting desperate for some solid GTA 6 news, and b) fake content is becoming a bit harder to judge, especially when said content is spread by the plague of ‘GTA 6 Leaks’ channels on Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube," the Taylor-Hill said.

"It’s a cash grab, folks — they just want clicks," the reporter added.

It's essential to rely on reputable sources, exercise critical judgment and await official announcements, as legitimate updates about GTA 6 are expected soon.
