Elon Musk has once again expressed his disapproval of hashtags on X, formerly Twitter, describing them as “ugly” and redundant.
What Happened: Musk's latest remark came in response to a post by another user on X who shared a screenshot of what Grok answered regarding hashtags.
Grok, compared hashtags to a screen door on a submarine, implying their lack of utility on X. In response to the post, Musk said, “Please stop using hashtags. The system doesn't need them anymore and they look ugly.”
