Sidus Space, Reflex Aerospace Launch Global Satellite Venture

Sidus Space Inc. (NASDAQ:SIDU) has entered into a collaborative initiative with Germany-based Reflex Aerospace GmbH to enhance satellite production across defense, commercial, and governmental applications.

The agreement sets the groundwork for a U.S.-based joint venture to deliver cost-effective satellite platforms.

Sidus, led by CEO Carol Craig, will offer its strengths in mission coordination, tech deployment, and high-precision production to the partnership. Reflex, led by CEO Walter Ballheimer, will supply its satellite engineering skills and adaptable high-performance components.

The partnership is set to serve defense, commercial, and government clients in the U.S. and Europe.

The initiative will support satellite production for missions across low, medium, and small geostationary Earth orbits, while also participating in demonstration projects like In-Orbit Demonstration (IOD) and In-Orbit Validation (IOV).

The venture is expected to prioritize applications such as LIDAR, software-defined radios, orbital surveillance, and satellite refueling.

Sidus will host integration and testing operations at its Cape Canaveral, Florida facilities. The company will also supply proprietary tools for space-based data intelligence, such as its Orlaith AI Ecosystem, FeatherEdge hardware, and the Cielo software suite.

In addition to commercial targets, both partners plan to pursue large-scale government programs by optimizing supply chains and jointly developing agile satellite systems capable of meeting national security and research goals.

Price Action: SIDU shares traded lower by 6.5% at $1.31 at last check Wednesday.
