China May Have Suffered Nearly $500 Billion In Losses On Treasuries
According to Zero Hedge, there are rumors floating around in mainland China that the People's Bank of China may have suffered a loss of $430 billion in losses on U.S. Treasuries.
As a result, Gov. Zhou Xiaochuan may have left the country on reports he may be punished by the government.
Internet searches for his name have been blocked, and rumors continue to persist he has fled the country.
