Guggenheim Shifts Names, Tickers For Two ETFs
ETF issuer Guggenheim announced name and ticker changes for two its ETFs. As of today, the Claymore U.S. Capital Markets Bond ETF becomes the Guggenheim Enhanced Core Bond ETF and will trade on the NYSE under the ticker “GIY.”
GIY's new objective will be to seek total return, comprised of income and capital appreciation and will now be an actively managed ETF.
The Claymore U.S. Capital Markets Micro-Term Fixed Income ETF will become the Guggenheim Enhanced Ultra-Short Bond ETF and will trade on the NYSE under the ticker “GSY.”
GSY's new objective will be to seek maximum current income, consistent with preservation of capital and daily liquidity and will also become an actively managed ETF.
Guggenheim had 42 ETFs with $3.99 billion in assets under management at the end of April, according to National Stock Exchange data.
