Local Republican Assemblyman Keith P. Brown introduced a bill to counter teenage vaping and cannabis usage.

His proposed bills focus on introducing mandatory counseling programs for teenagers caught in vaping and attending marijuana diversion programs, involving their parents or guardians.
Brown's legislative engagement also extends to tackling cannabis-related issues among young drivers, encompassing measures such as drug impairment testing and potential penalties for impaired driving violations.
“By creating diversion programs statewide and spreading awareness about the effects of vaping and cannabis use on teens, we will be able to get ahead of some of the issues that have emerged since the legalization of cannabis,” Brown said.
