Jeff Zucker Could Get A Total Compensation Of $20 Million (GE, CMCA)
According to documents filed by NBC Universal in connection with its bond offering, Jeff Zucker, who will be its CEO and President after the sale of a majority interest to Comcast Corp. (NASDAQ: CMCSA), could get a total compensation of $20 million. Apparently, Zucker will receive a guaranteed bonus of $1.5 million.
Fox Business reports that his base salary would be $6.3 million and he may receive a performance bonus between $2 million and $4.5 million. Also, General Electric (NYSE: GE), which currently owns NBC Universal, could double Zucker’s base salary to $12.6 million under its long-term performance plan, if he does get the payout this year. He is also eligible for stock options and restricted stock from GE, even after the sale of NBC to Comcast.
