S&P 500 Index Futures Trading Lower In Choppy Session

S&P 500 index futures were trading lower by four points at 2088.25 in Monday's session. After trading in the red for most of the pre-market session, it found resistance off the open just below Friday's close (2092.25), only reaching 2092.
On the decline, it found support ahead of Friday's low (2083.50), reaching 2085 before attempting to rebound, but has not been able to clear 2089.
The indexes two top components are preventing the decline from being a rout. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) shares were trading higher by $0.40 at $129.05. Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE: XOM) shares were trading higher by $0.72 at $85..
Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) is leading the way on the downside, trading lower by $0.42 at $98.17.
The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE: SPY) was trading lower by $0.49 at $209.27.
