Live Cattle Little Lower

Cattle futures are trading a little lower Friday morning. October Cattle is trading at 148.52, down 0.32 and December Cattle is trading at 149.90, down 0.32.

Market chatter about cash prices has kept both buyers and sellers active in a rangebound fashion. The USDA reported on Thursday that weekly beef export sales were 5,900 tons, the lowest weekly total in four months. Sales for 2015 are down 10.4 percent versus a year ago.
