Lean Hogs Little Lower

Friday's USDA hog slaughter was 395,000 head versus a year ago at 346,000 head.

Lean hogs traded very choppy on both sides of unchanged. Some late in the day buying firmed prices off the lows of the day. October Lean Hogs were trading at 64.17, down 0.27 and December Lean Hogs were trading at 60.50, down 0.20.
