Estimates for USDA Cattle on Feed report

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) monthly Cattle on Feed Report is scheduled for release Friday at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Street estimates for placements are near 112.6 percent of last year, the range of estimates is 108.6 to 118. The average estimate for marketings is 116.7 percent from a range of 112.3 to 118. The street estimate for the September 1st on-feed cattle supply is around 101.1 percent of a year ago.
