USDA Cattle-on-Feed Report Street Estimates

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's monthly cattle-on-feed report is due out at 3:00 p.m. ET.

The average street estimate for placements for the month of September are near 103.6 percent of a year ago.
The range of street estimates is between 97.6 percent on the low end and over 108 percent on the high end. The street estimate for marketings during September is 106.2 percent of last year, from a range of 103.2 percent to 108.8 percent of a year ago. The street estimate for the nation's' on-feed cattle supply on October 1st is around 101.3 percent of last year, from a range of 100.2 percent to 102.1 percent of a year ago.
