USDA Cattle on Feed Report; Cattle on Feed Down 1 Percent

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) monthly Cattle on Feed Report was released after the close of livestock trading.

The USDA November Cattle on Feed report showed placements during October totaled 2.171 million head, down 5 percent versus a year ago. Marketings of fed cattle during October totaled 1.705 million head, up 5 percent versus last year at this time. The number of cattle on feed on November 1st was 10.665 million head, down 1 percent versus a year ago.
