Soybean Futures Little Changed

March Soybeans are trading at 995 1/2, up 3/4 of a cent/bushel. March Soymeal is trading at 311.4, up 0.1 $/ton. March Soybean Oil is trading at 35.06, up 0.08 cents/lb.

Soybean futures are trading rangebound.

The USDA reported on Friday that soybean export sales for the current marketing year as of December 29th are now 86 percent of the agency forecast versus the five year average of 80.1 percent. Soymeal sales are 52.8 percent of the forecast versus the five year average of 56.2 percent. Soybean oil sales are 56.3 percent of the forecast versus the five year average of 47.5 percent.

The USDA crop production report is scheduled for release on Thursday January 12th.
