Tuesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 116,000 head versus 113,000 head a year ago.

February live cattle is trading at 119.25, up 2.72 cents/lb. April live cattle is trading at 118.17, up 2.20 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 107.25, up 1.95 cents/lb
