Friday's USDA cattle slaughter was 114,000 head versus 106,000 head a year ago.

February live cattle is trading at 118.47, up 0.97 cents/lb. April live cattle is trading at 117.87, up 1.37 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 107.95, up 1.15 cents/lb
