Tuesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 113,000 head versus 78,000 head a year ago.

February live cattle is trading at 115.52, down 0.65 cents/lb. April live cattle is trading at 114.02, down 0.75 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 104.07, down 0.47 cents/lb.
