Friday's USDA cattle slaughter was 111,000 head versus 107,000 head a year ago.

April live cattle is trading at 115.72, up 0.25 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 105.75, up 0.22 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 101.42, up 0.02 cents/lb.
