Live Cattle Futures Little Higher

April live cattle is trading at 114.90, up 0.20 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 105.42, up 0.17 cents/lb

Live cattle futures are trading a little higher just after the open.

Market chatter about weather and consumer demand is making the rounds. Wednesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 112,000 head, the total for last week is now 333,000 head versus a year ago at 324,000 head.
