Thursday's USDA cattle slaughter was 113,000 head versus 109,000 head a year ago.

April live cattle is trading at 114.92, up 0.17 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 105.35, up 010 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 101.77, up 0.25 cents/lb.
