Friday's USDA cattle slaughter was 107,000 head versus 106,000 head a year ago.

April live cattle is trading at 113.07, down 1.75 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 104.22, down 1.05 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 100.97, down 0.77 cents/lb.
