Live Cattle Futures Little Lower

April live cattle is trading at 112.77, down 0.37 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 103.90, down 0.37 cents/lb

Live cattle futures are trading a little lower after Friday's decline. Trading is very choppy.

Market chatter about weather and consumer demand is making the rounds.

Friday's USDA cattle slaughter was 107,000 head, Saturday's was 21,000 head. The total cattle slaughter for last week was 574,000 head versus a year ago at 547,000 head.
