Corn Futures Little Lower
March Corn is trading at 373 3/4, down 1 3/4 cents/bushel.
May Corn is trading at 381 1/2, down 1 1/4 of a cent/bushel.
Corn futures are trading a little lower. Chatter about the corn planting season ahead and demand for U.S. corn is making the rounds.
Street estimates are showing U.S corn acreage at 89.8 million acres for the season ahead versus 94.0 million acres planted last season.
The USDA reported on Monday that corn export inspections for the current marketing year as of February 9th are now 41.2 percent of the agency forecast versus the five year average of 38.2 percent.
