Friday's USDA cattle slaughter was 107,000 head versus 99,000 head a year ago.

April live cattle is trading at 114.82, up 1.57 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 105.20, up 1.05 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 101.25, up 0.82 cents/lb.
