Thursday's USDA cattle slaughter was 114,000 head versus 109,000 head a year ago.

April live cattle is trading at 116.50, up 0.45 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 106.82, up 0.40 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 102.47, up 0.15 cents/lb.
