April lean hogs are trading at 67.85, down 0.27 cents/lb. June lean hogs are trading at 77.42, down 0.22 cents/lb

Lean hog futures are trading a little lower just after the open.

Talk about weather, cash prices and trade policy is making the rounds is making the rounds.

Monday's USDA hog slaughter was 441,000 head versus 404,000 head a year ago.
