Live Cattle Futures Trading Higher
April live cattle is trading at 118.57, up 0.65 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 108.20, up 0.62 cents/lb
Live cattle futures are trading higher just after the open.
Tuesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 115,000 head versus 111,000 head a year ago.
The total cattle slaughter for the week is now 231,000 head versus 215,000 head a year ago.
