Sugar Futures Little Lower

May New York Sugar is trading at 19.56, down 0.10 cents/lb.

July New York Sugar is trading at 19.39, down 0.07 cents/lb.

New York Sugar futures are trading just under the session highs and a little lower on the session.

Indonesia's' government is estimating 2017 sugar production near 2.75 million tonnes versus 2.3 million tonnes a year ago. Some street estimates for global sugar supplies are showing to a surplus over demand by 5.35 million tonnes versus for the season that begins in April versus a deficit of 5.13 million tonnes in the previous season.
